    Imagine the frustration: you're a red kite, and you've spotted a delicious roadkill pheasant; but the road is busy with cars, and you know that if you go down for your meal, you will end up as the next piece of roadkill.

    I had a lot of sympathy for the two red kites seen circling over the A60 between Cotes and Hoton when I was on my bike ride this afternoon.

    Just back from a weekend in Mid Wales. Walking across a field north of llanidloes I could see a Kite, Buzzard and a Harrier!

    Yes - I was very pleased not seen them often and generally in Scotland. I have seen them in Mid Wales before, but high up at Glaslyn near Plumlumon.

    Some years back there were a pair of Hen harriers at Llyn Bugeilyn, I was camping and fishing there. Pumlumon area again so perhaps they are still about.
    Don't roll with a pig in poo. You get covered in poo and the pig likes it.
