A Jay in a small tree by the path I was running on. It stood out against the snowy field behind it and its colours were brilliant in the good light reflected off the snow.
A bit further on I saw a Heron at close range flying along the brook. Usually they are either flying far way from me or just stood still but it was very graceful close up using minimum wing movement as it kept just ahead of me.

One male peacock (complete with full tail) and two females - loose on Farleton Knott! Thought they were bloody big pheasants when I first saw them but they just kept getting bigger.
