Great race today. May have gone a bit too fast at the start though, had that confirmed when Messers Fishwick and Ruscoe passed me on the first climb, I'm never near them normally. Thanks to everyone involved, well worth the trip up.

Ha ha! Great piccy, Andy, cheers. We almost look presentable there. We both have colds, early scenes would have seen us coughing, spluttering, spitting, snotting in tandem!

Great race, really enjoyed it. Cheers to the organisers and marshalls.

They got the weather right again today - 15 degrees and a nice cooling breeze. An interesting race route with some fast sections for those at the sharp end. Superb cake selection, and Mrs T won a bottle of Prosecco in the raffle. Thanks to the RO and the marshals.

Tough race but not in terms of technical ascents and descents, just in the fact it was a true runners race and I'm not going well at the moment.

Thank-you to all concerned who made it a cracking afternoons entertainment.

Oh and good effort by the marshal's to have water a the top of the big climb, same some runners chose to throw empty cups up to 200m away from the bins.

Two water stations in a 7.5 mile race. What is fell running coming too?
