Phil - by the time youv'e clawed your way up to the Curr through the slippy reedy grass you'll know you've been in a race. Even makes bog bathing on the Cheviot a pleasant alternative. I understand that NYM have made it a champs race so we are preparing for a few more border raiders this year
John, willl be doing my best to get there on sunday
Phil - Congrats on winning the team prize. Your car must have been weighed down with the spoils of war today. Let battle re-commence at Alwinton next Saturday. Hopefully the powers that be will remember that in June it is supposed to sunny and warm !!
hi john, im looking forward to Alwinton, hopefully the weather will be better!
Great fun with runners appearing from all directions out of the cloud at one point. Much as I enjoyed the race last year I felt the reversed route made it even better, got the rough stuff out of the way early and made for a great descent to the finish. Definitely quickest run-in I've ever done, pity we couldn't see where we were going.
i agree great fast end to a splendidly chaotic race. well done to Norham and Borders search and rescue to a very well run race
