    I envy you all! Trying to get back in slowly after injury....had hoped the Trog would have been an ideal Father's Day treat!

    Having racked up a first at the weekend (i.e. getting lost on a myriad of forest tracks at Alwinton) can anyone reassure me that I can't go wrong. Have studied the map and it looks relatively straightforward but that's what I thought on Saturday !! With a 500 mile round trip I would look very stupid repeating the same mistake.

    It's OK, there aren't any forest tracks.

    The only bit that isn't obvious, really, is from Kinder Low via Edale Cross to South Head. Also, after you cross the bit of moorland from Big Stone to New Allotments, don't forget to turn right at the path/bridleway crossroads.

    i could well hop round this after buckden on the way back home
    i nearly got lost last year somewhere but a dark peaker rescued me

    The weather is set to improve which for this race is bad news.
    Two years ago everyone suffered in the sun. Last year was perfect - cool with some light rain.
