I really enjoyed the race but looking at the photos you wouldn't think so, the only runner not grimacing is the labrador. It wasn't that bad
Also the pictures suggest that I run like a drunk giraffe, I guess this is probably true![]()

Is it too early to be looking forward to running this again?
Hopefully the weather will be as good as last year.
I think I'm gonna give it a go this year. A nice little Sunday outing is just what I need.
Looking forward to this race tomorrow. I'm a first timer for this one although I have recce'd it. However, I'm pretty sure the actual race doesn't visit Peep O Day twice like my recce did!!
Does anyone have a reliable local forecast? I'll be happy with anything other than clag!
MWIS (http://www.mwis.org.uk/pd.php?fdate=130623) says:
Cloud on the hills?
VariedCloud base will vary. Extensive cloud to low levels in heavy showers. However cloud will lift at times to 600m or above, giving some breaks to summits. Cloud base generally highest toward evening as showers die out.
Chance of cloud free Summits?
60%
I'll take that.

looking at the forecast I'd say possibility of rain, less wind than kinder downfall day for sure, so similar to today which had clear vis on the tops, warm and muggy with a couple of decent downpours. mixed bag then really!!
I'll be somewhere around chunal crossing/burnt hill cheering you all on.
Should be a good day for it. See you all there :0)
Haha.. That was magic today. The most fun you can have in your shorts on this side of Kinder.
Great to see a few of the forum gang out enjoying the crazy weather.
Thanks to RO and everyone else involved.
