Daz the 330s are the mudclaw sole on a more robust upper, the grip is like tractor tyres, the only shoe I feel able to really let myself go downhill when its wet....but then I am a wuss ;-)
And I was confusing flyrocs with mudclaw.
Flyrocs (blue) kill my ankle bone (digging in), and my heel bone (blister), and the uppers are going - never again.
It was the (red/silver) Mudclaws I wore at Stanbury - gripped like a great grippy thing.
Or maybe I have no idea what they are called, but I do know what colour they are.

david made a good point on the old forum
u have to take into consideration shoes when they are wet in a race
flyrocks weigh loads more when wet unlike walshs
I was an Inov 8 man to start with,
BUT
The 270 mudclaws had great grip but uppers split.
330 mudclaws are tougher but rub my heel once I get to double figure miles
SO
I tried a pair of Walsh's and wish I had gone there sooner
I HAVE SEEN THE LIGHT
What do you reckon to grip, Mudclaw vs Walshes Stagger?
I think it's time Gladiators got a mention in this thread. Very light and responsive similar to PB Racers. I think they grip better in the mud than PBs but are not as good on wet rock. You should try a pair next Daz.
