    Dialogue game

    OK, here's the game, what we will do is post a random bit of dialogue, then someone has to tell us as much as they can about this item. The first person to tell us about the dialogue then posts the next piece. we need - a) the title of the piece from which it came, b) synopsis of what the piece is about, c) any other items of trivia connected with the dialogue. You cannot use google to find out about the quote, unless someone has not posted a reply within 30 minutes of the quote being posted. We're relying upon your honesty for that one.

    OK I'll start....

    The Golden Journey to Samarkand' penned by James Elroy Flecker (1884 – 1915).

    So heres another:
    'With no club in town from 1929, Keighley runners were forced to look elsewhere for their company. Bingley Harriers began to attract several faces from Keighley, as did Airedale Harriers, who were themselves based in this side of the valley - at Cottingley - rather than their current base in the south of Bradford.
