Depends which way you're facing
We're coming up from that direction (sort of).
The only time we found the navigation difficult was when the marshal was at the wrong place. Agree that following red and white hoops is dangerous, but if you want to find the pub the white and yellow is the vest to follow.

Heh - well I stupidly forgot to warm up as I was too busy yakking away in the pub at ths start - legs felt like lead, so you were miles ahead of me from the off. So I was following my own nav, whistling a happy tune until I reaised I'd failed to try my alternative route down to the reservoir - as I crashed into the ferns effing and blinding, I could see your blue headgear buff bouncing away near the bottom.
I got so hacked off after that, the whole race collapsed into ruins. I sailed through the cut off with loads to spare, but then my mind cleared off to the Hare and Hounds, leaving me weeping with despair on an open moor.
I got home and couldn't believe the tracklogs on Memory Map - no relation to where I thought I'd come.
Everyone should get some sort of coaching from Invisible if you can afford it. "You were bloody useless" was his paraphrased feedback to me today.
Next year: I'll have reccied every inch of that flipping moor. That James Logue had better start panicing.
See you next year!
Thanks boys.
Great to meet up with you again.
Hopefully will be running next year, rather than commentating.

Did anyone get any photos of this year's - or any other year's - Bogs race?
Possible article in October's Fellrunner needs illustration. PM me.
