For fellrunning/racing between 30 mins and 2 hours, what's the ideal balance of anaerobic and aerobic training? I've been told it should be 80% aerobic. Any other opinions?

Oh no, you're setting yourself up for a Christopher Leigh reply here
From all the books I have read, you should balance out somthing like this, 10% speedwork, 15% Anaerobic and 75% mix of Aerobic and Cardio, the 1st will improve your pace, the second will lift your latic threshold and the third improve your heart and lungs and if you get the balance right you wont get overtired. Hope you find this helpful and you DONT have to take this advice, but CL may have somthing to say, Sally Edwards book on HRM has this info in it
come on chris i like to hear your views !
