molehill i got passed down some excellent gardenin skills from my grandad and for yrs i grew lots of stuff for myself
since i have run more and more ive turned my garden into an easy maintenence garden
time is my problem / 40 miles a week, busy job, family, football trainin, etc etc .
but ive still got my grandads bean sticks which are at least 30 odd yrs old
in is prime he was self sufficient in veg , something which he was very proud of.
You could try Faulkner's Organics in Rammy. I know they deliver to Rawtenstall but I'm not sure whether they venture up to the hillbilly end of the valley.
I wouldn't expect you to do the gardening daz the Missus does all the veg gardening here, my job is eating it all .
You can't beat homegrown veg though, I think it's a pity it has rather gone out of fashion. I'm not saying it's cheaper to produce (in terms of time/labour) but it is very rewarding - watching the missus dig holes and plant things
