Airport and flying felt safe.

You would laugh on the plane too.

Stewardess told NO ONE to stand up when plane had landed and exit plane ONE row at a time.

Everyone did as they were told.

First time I've ever seen that.

Funny you mention Tahiti.

I had an order from Tahiti shipped on 22/6 with TNT on a 4-8 day service.

It has travelled to East Midlands Airport, Cologne, Louisville, Ontario (los Angeles) where it arrived on 30th June and hasn't moved since.

They tell me there are flight issues to get the item to Tahiti.

There seems to be 3 direct airlines flying Tahiti - California. I was surprised so many. Delta and French Blue are cancelled at the moment, but Air Tahiti is still flying.

Think I am going to have to claim.

I haven't had to many glitches, but one interesting parcel went to Bonaire in the Dutch Antilles around 6 weeks ago.
It did fine to get to Miami in 3 days, then somehow thy put on the wrong plane and it ended up in Santiago. From there it went to Buenos Airies, Bogata, Sao Paolo and back to Miami on an 8 day tour of South America.
Got to Bonaire eventually after about 2 weeks.

Kirkby Stephen area is great. You've got the Pennines (Crossfell/ High Cup Nick/Mallerstang), Wildboar, Howgills (long gentle ridge runs/walks); Crosby Garrett fells (low lying limestone ridge stretching to Orton and beyond) and fabulous lanes in the gorgeous Eden valley between. But, I'd give Teesdale and Weardale a miss - we're mobbed out since July.
