Why not go on a canoeing holiday somewhere, no hassle on the knee's.

I have been looking into it, only place I have found at the minute is Sweden. Im sure they have them in the UK though.

Did a bit last year in Halong Bay in NW Vietnam at sunset - not sure Leeds-Liverpool Canal nr Bradford would be same somehow Jamie! 8^)

Good place, isn't it? We were there for the 1st time last year. Had a super few runs inc one up the Barrule ridge to Snaefell. Mind you, this year the missus has booked and managed to find the only 2 weeks without a single fell race....

Yeah we did that ridge and it looked fantastic on the map, but the weather was awful so we didn't see that much of it
Did get a brilliant run up South barrule though and a couple on the south western part of the coastal path
Our short trip over has whetted my appetite to go back and have a go at the Manx mountain marathon some time

Remember seeing the most stunning ladyboy on Koh Samui a few years ago. Spray-on black dress and calf muscles most fellrunners would die-for. He/she tried to drag me and my then girlfriend into a bar. Amazing looking thing!
