I can't really vouch for whether there are mistakes or not.

Chris,
The mistakes I can see are that I beat Tom Bowie to the finish line and not Tom Ross. I'm also pretty sure I finished in front of Michael Diver but the results have him well up on me. You can see from your photos that he's chronologically behind me. Strange as I never normally see any mistakes in results...
Cheers,
Derek.
I wonder if the results are right - I finished almost last.
Ooops that might be to do with me running slowly!!!!
I've noticed a whole bunch more mistakes with the results, comparing with the Flickr set of photos:

This is where the Carnethy idea of having a video camera running at the finish line would be a good idea to unscramble the finishing order after the event!
Strange stuff. I wonder if Adam's aware of this - I'll maybe email him about it. I've no idea if the mistakes are easily rectifiable mind you...
In my experience the best way to decipher these things is to see the original hand-written results to understand where the typos and mis-placed runners have crept in.
There is plenty of scope for error going from hand-written timings, to hastily typed up results.
Perhaps championship fell races should think about using chip timing, with starting/finishing mats to avoid this sort of thing, and you would get accurate results more quickly after the race ....
I see the results have been amended a bit!
Yup - I've done what I can to sort them out based on photographic evidence.
Next time we should be using Sportident for British Championship races to provide instant accurate results with split timings!
