Couldn't agree more Chaddy. It used to be cutting social satire, now it just seems to go out of its way to be offensive. Whereas once it used to be essential viewing, I can't be arsed with it any more. I think it lost the plot when Steve and Fiona left... when they were in it, it was ace.

joking aside...it has always been a bit dodgy even the first series. I like Frank but the show now has lost the plot it seems now to belong to the genre of late night itv 'comedy' drama like 'Benidorm'

I think alot of actors have used it as a stepping stone into bigger things, eg, James MacVoy appeared in Last king of Scotland, and anne marie duff has gone on to further her career.
it's only waiting for frank to go, then the series can finally end.
