Not quite, I'll be leaving at midnight going the right way but with a number of diversions for my 55 before returning to the Moot Hall.

Thanks for your best wishes and best of luck to everyone else.

Interesting blog. Good luck - just three 55@55 previously it seems http://www.bobgrahamround.co.uk/statistics.htm

I'm a bit confused by this right way round business - in what sense, if BG himself went clockwise?

I went ACW, but have no idea why

I'm supporting Bowland Will, on Leg 4...

I'll be helping support Legs 1 and 2 for Paul, Will and Clare from Goyt Valley. Starting 18.30 Moot Hall tomorrow and going CW.

I think you missed the smileys regarding the "right way round" business.

The right way round is what plays to your personal strengths and which you feel gives you the greatest chance of success.

Bob Graham was an arriviste - Eustace Thomas went anti-clockwise and that is why it is the right way round.

Ah so there is a crumb of historical precedent. I have to say, going ACW nearly killed me - you are a brave man FSS. Hope all goes well.
