What an incredible experience... well done Gerry, George and whoever else did it yesterday. I only did half the last leg, but the atmosphere was buzzing and the reception at the Moot Hall for Gery & Gorge was awesome. I'd love to do it all again now... but I think Gerry might have something to say about that!!

I'll remember coming off Blencathra, on me arse and elbows for the rest of my life, great to be a part of it. Running up to Moot Hall with a tear in me eye was great as well, really proud of Gerry and George, a fantastic effort, well done.
Also, well done to Daz and Marvin, Daz looked like he'd done nowt sat in the pub after, good effort, Pennine lads.
And well done any others that completed this weekend and any others that attempted (you'll do it one day) your all an inspiration, have a great week recovering, folksMASSIVE RESPECT

Thanks to all who have supported me and wished me well
without the help of my BG partner Andy B i wouldnt have made it to the start never mind complete it .

My clubmates and friends at Pennine Fellrunners did us proud supporting us yesterday, it was faultless. Conditions wasnt great with bad visability most of the way round but we got the job done.

Well done to George and Gerry. The last time i saw George was as i passed him on kirk fell , he was eating a rice pudding

Bad luck for Dave B and Helen. Im sure you two will be back.

A fantastic experience. Thanks for all the support and camaraderie from Pennine Fellrunners, but also from the other BGers and supporters!

You would have got round even quicker without me, Daz, but I don't think that's what the BG is about. We worked together on it and it paid off for both of us. Thank you.

As Daz says, the weather wasn't good, but at least it wasn't too hot.

I can't walk very well either, but I didn't sprint from Little Town to Keswick. Knowing that I had time in hand, I chose a fast walk instead.

Well done to everyone else who got round, and for those who didn't make it, well done for giving it a try.

    That's a bit lazy isn't it.

Well done mate. Well deserved. When you're back on your feet make sure you come out on a Striders training night and tell us your war stories.
