How far is the 6 - 9 year olds please?
And will a five year old be Ok to go round? (one of us would go with him) He gets very upset if big sis can race and not him!

Hello Janeho,
As the minimum age for competions with the FRA is 6yrs we can only register that age for insurance. However we cannot stop people running around. The course is a simple one, twice round the sports field. Those registered get a medal. I am testing the water with the introduction of races for Infants and Juniors this year. I do feel there should be more oppertunity for children to run and would welcome comment and experiences from other runners and organisers. Regards Mark
