MX you've got a way to go to match my pb...2.30m...did it as a kid when roped in to fill the B team position at a Northern Mens league meeting many years ago...was rather pleased until I realised it was below the high jump world record!!
anyway the challenge has been set, am I officially the uk fellrunning pole vault record holder? come on surely someone has done better than 2.30m?
Likewise just did it for the point in a Southern League fixture set at lowest possible height, even so I found it hard to stop pole knocking bar off despite clearing the bar easily.
Similarly my high jump PB is in excess of my pole vault PB not that it is anything worth mentioning.
Hoping for a far more successful 2009
