ooh you should have seen me in Mexico at the wekend, all dressed up to my eyeballs, and looking pretty tasty if I may say so myself. Today I donned my favourite tight Ron Hills and smelly helly and took off for a jaunt around tebay.
Twas lovely, but I was lost without those high heels.

Best thing about half term, as a cycling pensioner, is riding across Lancaster to our group's meeting point for 09.15; there's only 50% of the usual traffic ..... all those poor little darlings need driving to school, catching a bus is beneath them.
I was a bit of an oddball until I was abducted by aliens; but I'm perfectly OK now!

Off to Dorset and Wiltshire for a change. Unfortunately even though kids have left home, I still have to go away in the school holidays as Mrs S is a teacher. Have a 10 mile trail race on Sunday then a week of relaxing and eating/drinking too much.

    I with you Pete.

    Week of training everyday
    With
Week of supping and steaks on a night

Wonder if one cancelled out the other?😉

Hopefully they do. I have spent this evening eating pizza and drinking a fine pale ale. Tomorrow I will be tackling "The Stickler" - Dorset's answer to the 3 peaks apparently.

Stickler done. 10 miles with 3 main hills amounting to 1500ft of climbing. Nice trail race if you are ever down this way. I enjoyed it a lot but have aggravated my ITB so will stick to the half term plan and do no further running or cycling this week. A bit of light stretching and plenty of dog walking will do just fine. Have a nice selection of beer for this evening.

Aye 1500ft sounds like 3Ps with 10 mile of hills. Rest is a waste of time.

    Hope you recover quickly Pete.

Foam roller is supposed to be good for stretching this plus some exercises.
