    Tockholes fell race video

    For your entertainment and delectation, here she is: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HUUMlSU6wn0

    I really hope you enjoy it. William has surmounted quite a few (now traditional) technical and personal difficulties to get it finished. Big up my lad, as I believe they say these days.

    Just watched it through - great work guys.

    I have a question though on the other Dashers Fell Races.

    Aggies - 3.8m/1150' - Over 14

    Darwen Gala - 3.7m/930' - Over 16

    Why the Higher Age for what is the easier race?

    I was just looking as Witton Parkette won Aggie's and might be up for the Gala Race come the time.

    The rules for juniors are on page 101 of this year's FRA calendar. They make no mention of ascent, just the distance. The wording confuses me: An 'under 16' runner could be a 6 year old! But 'under 16' really means '14 or over'. My interpetation is.....

    >=12 yrs max 3 miles
    >=14 yrs max 4 miles
    >=16 yrs max 6 miles
    >=18 no limit

    I take your point about Aggies and Darwen Gala. One for Darwen Gala race organiser, NotOnYourHelly, to decide I think. Any comments Jamie?
