video shop bust up

on the way from work earlier i dropped off a DVD
whilst lookin for another one to rent out a young mother came in with 3 x toddlers, she was obviously flustered and said to the lady behind the till can one of my daughters use the toilet as she needs to go quickly.
to my amazement the lady said huh sorry luv but its not a public toilet you know so sorry i cant help you
god the young mum was nearly in tears and after pleadin twice the lady still insisted the toddler couldnt use the toilet even though the mum said she was a customer of the shop
i intervened and said go next door to interflora and ask jane if you can use her toilet
this she did and i immediatley walked out the shop and chucked her my video card

It's a well known fell-runnin' phenomenon....nothing beats local knowledge. Local shops run by local people....the best!
