Fantasy Fellrunning League

I'd like to create a new game here on the forum - we all pick a team of fellrunners eg - one from the north and one from the south, one lady and one down the pubber and you get points for how well your runner does after a race.

does anyone want to work out the league and do the maths? some of you teachers could get your kids to do it as a project next term perhaps???

anyway..............

So come on DS! How does the point scoring work? How about,

1 point for every race entered, plus
10 points for 1st place
7 for 2 - 5
6 for 6 - 10
5 for 11 - 20
4 for 21 - 30
3 for 31 - 40
2 for 41 - 50
1 for 51 - 100

Do we split men from women, or is it just based on the combined race result?

Depends what we're classing as south? Perhaps we should say 'someone not from Northern Counties in athletic terms'. I think that makes Simon Bailey a Midlander.

DS wants to cut the Midlands in half

I reckon we should have one from North/scotland, one from midlands/south/wales, one female - anywhere, and any other who has posted down the pub?
