I have to work
Its wide coz its BIG!! Hann, I can meet you at Longtown post office at 9.30. I'll be flapjack refuelling! How long does it take you to get to Talgarth? I figure we should be at top of Tumble by 1.30. This might be a bit late for you but you would have the option of leaving earlier when we hit the A40 at Bwlch...you could hare straight down to Aber from there.

I have no idea how long it would take me to get to Talgarth... Are we going to Bwlch via Llangors, much nicer with lots of little climbs, or will we drag ourselves up and over via Pengenfford?
Yes, I reckon we'd be at the top of the tumble come 1.30... I will study the raceroute map, as I don't necessarily have to watch the start... I can go and position myself somewhere en route to see them go past, then move to somewhere else to see them again I am meeting up with a friend to watch the women race...
Still miffed Just looked at the start list and there are a few girls there that I know I can easily keep up with! I should have been bl**dy racing myself!
But I am going to take it up with BC grrrrrrrrrrrrrr!

Just done an hour on the canal bank, fast leg turn over, at moderate to low speed.
They were still a bit tender from yesterdays ride.
Right-ho Hann. I reckon we should take the michaelchurch road to Hay then the main road to Talgarth then the Llangors lane to Bwlch. After that we can split if needs be or you can accompany me UP THE TUMBLE!!!!

Tumble is actually straightforward. Just knock it onto the granny ring, sit back and grind it out. Its not as steep as the bottom bit of Gospel pass coming from Hay.
