    Re: Todays Bike Ride

No bike for 3 weeks and last night I decided to do a ride. 52 hard miles. Didnt feel good towards the end as the legs hadnt been used to spinning.
Normally takes a couple of rides for me to get back into it.
The climb up to Black Rocks killed me whereas a few weeks ago i danced up it.
This bloody cold didnt help either. I could hardly breathe.

As i cycled back to Ripley I nearly caved in and cycled into the Mcdonalds drive thru

Didn't think I would have the bib shorts on again this year but today's mild weather saw them in action. Club ride ended up over Croston/Rufford way with 7 riders out. 63 miles at a social 15.5 average with a certain infrequent forumite missing the ride by 5 minutes!!
