72 Miles out toward the coast (6 of us) and back through the Trough of Bowland (on mi own). Some interesting weather today; hail, driving rain, floods - quite nasty! Averaged 16.2

Bit of a chilly one this morning but that not deter myself or 7 other riders including a guest Darwen Dasher. A very social pace was set up to Giggleswick and then on the minor road to Little Stainforth black ice was encountered which led to 2 falls and 1 rider going off road! The lane up past Knight Stainforth campsite threatened to have some of us off again so we cut back over the bridge to the main Settle-Horton road and continued to Blind Beck cafe where we lingered for Xmas pudd. We stuck to the main road on the return home at an even slower pace until we started splitting at Clitheroe for our journeys home.

Stats: 64 miles, 15 average, 2 very sore & bruised fingers.

Is nobody doing any bike riding this winter? - all too busy drinking real ale and eating cakes - oh, and running (maybe.........).

No rain and a guest appearence by the current bun made for a very pleasant ride today. Around 8 of us looped round to Scorton for a light lunch and then I came back through the Trough of Bowland (no other takers for this route option). A very enjoyable 71 (ish) miles and around 16mph (ish) average with just the 1 puncture, no falling off and no road rage incidents.

Have to say ive not been on the bike since I increased my training for Tanky's
Its sitting there in the living room and Im aiming to do 7 x 100mile rides over christmas just like last year. Must admit the weather has been awful.
Ive just read in the paper about yet another local cyclist thats been killed.
    Awful.
Was thinking about getting some rollers as well
    Any recommendations ?

Get out on the road instead, turbos are a safer option if you must cycle indoors

No. And to be honest, you're not selling it very well.
