Too much faffing this morning meant the planned two hours on the bike became 1hr 15 minutes... ah well, did plenty of climbing in the sunshine and the last 5 miles on the flat at 36 km/hr, which felt good!

Hann are you logging your mileage for the year ???????.
not been on the bike for a while.
Cycled 37m to brum from Leicester in am and same as return journey pm yesterday. Felt reasonably strong and ride went well especially the return despite the pronounced back wheel wobble and no brakes. Can feel it in my legs and bottom today though.
Right, how do you go flat out round a corner without flying off and dying?
Is it all just about balance and getting that inside knee out?
When im on my fancy road bike i really sh!t it when i come to fast turns.

Make sure you have quality, correctly inflated tyres and that the road appears to be grit/diesel free! Lean into the bend and smoothly nudge your bars in the opposite direction of the lean (counter steering), this will angle you into the bend. You must ensure you have a good approach line into the bend, come into it from the white line and be smooth - forget about sticking your knee out, although you can move your arse slightly off the saddle if required.
Not Faffing with my gear, no... I had to pay in some money into the bank and it was a HUGE faff...
And yes, I am logging my training, I always do... and my coach wnats to know what I do too...
Two hours at a decent effort this morning, with a few climbs I rode 1-2 gears harder than I usually would, then found when I got to the fair that I could not get in, so after 20 minutes of getting cold waiting in the wind, I decided to get back on the bike for another hour
Legs hurting a little now...
