I just ordered a black one too, as there wasn't an orange one available :S

Well I went into work at 5am to cover for a foreman who is off.
Took my bike and stripped it down to give it a good clean. Forks out, seat post, pedals etc etc.
Hann have you taken your pedals off lately ?. With the amount of riding your doing they will get seized if you dont.
Adjusted my brakes as well.
Nice and easy when I can just shove my bike stand in the van and work on the bike.
Glad to report no oil thefts here. But we regulary get steel offcuts nicked.
Meant to ask the Bike thread forumites. Does anyone know whereby I can locate the new Bianchi book that has come out. Someone was telling me about this down here but I cannot find it and I want it. I need to have it in my collection.
Is this Hann off to another race ???
while on my be- slicked commuting mountain bike, on my way to pilates at accelerate last night - i dropped down a grassy bank between two paths - as I usually do. What wasn't usual was the big new rut in the grass, which greedily snatched my front wheel from under me and deposited me, "you've been framed" style, on my head on the lower concrete path...oops.
I now have a very cracked helmet and a burgeoning black eye from the deferred impact (round the eye socket) - if i hadn't had my lid on i'd have a very flat head!!
Bike was miraculously unscathed apart from wonky mud guard. pilates classmates came out to meet me as i cycled gingerly towards the shop (thanks guys). stuart was on hand to administer tea and ice pack (fortunately i managed to disuade him from donning nurses outfit). now have a grazed palm, bruised knee and sholder and black eye. I have to remind myself that real cyclists ride whole stages of the tour de france with broken collar bones. What's your worst bike related injury?
Last time I went over the handle bars i broke my collar bone and shoulder blade (not really done any mountain biking since) so this was a bit of an improvement.
Oh Ratfink, doesn't sound too good! Glad you got away relatively unscathed...
Maybe I should wear a helmet more often.... makes me think this...
Daz, love that picture of the orange bike
No idea about the Bianchi book, I want it too now... will let you know if I find out more! Oh and my pedals are greased when put on and they do get removed with a certain regularity when the bike goes in a bikebox, so none of them are seized... well, haven't checked the crosser...
