    nice one han

72miles at a steady 12mph (5-6000 feet of climb), foolishly sunburnt arms and a slightly sore bum.

Yep Lilactime, that was me... Nadine had a cracking ride and is now Welsh Champion... Did another 50 miler today and pb-ed by just over 5 minutes admittedly, and easier course, but same elevation...

    Well, Saturday's ride...

Had a cracking day at Whinlatter with three mates. Early start got us there by 1000. Warmed up with the Blue Quercus trail and then rode the South Loop of the Red Altura trail. Quick spot of lunch and then the North Loop of the Altura followed by a "cool down" blast round Quercus again.... then back in Chinley in time for curry and football. Really good, flowing and well built trails. Lots of interesting singletrack climbing as well as some cracking descents.
