Just nudged past 200 miles on the road bike last week and with good weather on the cards should do the same again this week.

82 miles yesterday, 50 today, 96 tomorrow round Lake Garda....
Not been on this thread for a while, but yesterday's (and Saturday's) bike ride was a 215+ miler, riding the trans-pennine trail in one go...
Strava data looks like http://www.strava.com/activities/330...ref_map=%5B%5D (hopefully) and the reasons behind it (and my lack of forum activity for a while) are at www.justgiving.com/24hourtpt
19.5 miler today, good to be back on my old stomping ground. Pint of Wharfedale Blonde in the Fountaine Inn, didn't have the ABV to get me turning strongly, but a quality pale ale nevertheless. Tea and cake in Buffers after.

Just a steady 18 m for me this afternoon to turn the legs over.
I don't know about shandy, but today i rode past a confuddle (correct collective noun) of Hipsters that were all smoking fat cigars. They cut quite the figures wearing moleskins, Barbour waxed jackets, tan brogues, and an effing great cuban a piece poking out from their neatly brushed beards. There wasn't one of them over 30, i wonder what they made of me plastered in mud astride a velocipede?
Steady 24m on the mtb today, it was muddy and all types of mud too. The gritty stuff, the sticky stuff, the wet stuff that sprays up and gets you in the kisser. Got assaulted by a Golden Retriever, i think it wanted to sit on the crossbar at first, but then settled for chewing my trousers.

20 miles, including a stop for a natter with a couple of friends I just happened to meet as they were going for a walk near their village. But why do I feel so knackered after a ride of that length at a fairly moderate pace, with no very big hills?
