A short ride yesterday around Abergavenny ending with another climb of the Tumble. Still not seen the view from the top...🙄

A tad tougher ride home, slightly up hill and into the breeze.
Great to be back on this thread.
Feels great doing again.
Onwards and upwards 👍
75km with 1200m ascent taking in south Staffordshire and north Worcestershire. Kinver sheepwalks and Clent Hills were particularly beautiful today (and felt like nothing after last week's climbs!)
Getting a sore achilles so will look at saddle height and check cleat position.
60km with 1000m ascent. To Droitwich and back stopping off to visit local dead rock star on the way. Hard work, legs tired and heavy.
Indeed - the greatest drummer that ever lived is buried at Rushock church to be exact. Lovely part of the world and quite often features in my training rides as it's all quiet lanes and there is a nice bench overlooking the Worcestershire countryside to stop and have a bite to eat.
Only had a couple of hours for a ride this weekend so hit the hills. Lots of short sharp stuff around the Clent Hills added up to just over 1000m ascent. Then went for a spin out to make up to 50km. Most enjoyable.
A nice potter around the 4 local villages and each one has had a colliery in the past.
Just steady as i try to get back into cycling.
Dieting is not working so burning calories is the way forward.
Nice to be out too.
Just had a little spin. Brilliant on the quite roads. 45mins of heaven.
