Strange goings on today in Milan on the crit circuit in the Giro. Riders can't be arsed to race saying the course is too dangerous. Does this mean there will no longer be an Amstel Gold race or others of similar ilk? Perhaps we will see further boycotts in Le Tour if the climbs are too steep WTF??

1 hr on fixed wheel hill reps .heading down hill for last rep when chain slipped and jammed in back wheel .resulted in screeching halt and a wrecked back tyre bugger! just got home in time to see cav get stage win did petacchi get dropped on run in ?

Ady the Amstel used to be a nightmare before the riders complained many years ago.
Parked Vehicles in the road being just one of many many problems.
The finishes in the Giro have not been easy for the sprinters( Narrow roads being a problem)
Know what you mean though about them not racing.

Voigt has been a great great rider
He has done well in The Criterium International for sure
Merry if you youtube the race you may get to see him in action.

You will often see him pulling the race along for his leader or trying a lone breakaway
seems ages since he was riding with Boardman for Credit agricole

Looks like Lance is getting back to some of his better form.A good ride today on a long stage.
The reality of Mark cav's climbing ability shown up again today,130th+ today and over 35 mins down on the day !
Looks likely he won't finish again,however he has done his publicity stuff for the his team/sponsors by winning some flat stages early on.

Remember getting SPDs for 1st time and watching tv leaning against the settee practicing clipping in and out for ages Probably not best done on your mother's beige living room carpet mind

make sure you put some grease or vaseline in the threads of your shoes before you fix da cleats on AL

you maybe wont have any vaseline in the house mind
