you were not flicking your elbow enough Han
perhaps the pacer needs to learn some bike signals or he or she may have just been admiring the view.

    Well done Hann, impressive effort!
As for me on Dragon Ride duty, that was very hard, very hard. very hot day and a head wind all the way home!
Hit 100 miles/3,000m at about 6hrs 38mins, so just slipping under Cav's time!! A bit pooped but still climbing strongly and all seemed ok until after a pretty hectic 15 mins of descending including a difficult time over a cattle grid at 35mph Then everything fell apart, think my vestibular system got addled on the rough bits and my eyes just wouldn't focus, thought I was going to fall off throw up or both So I had to stop for a little sit down with only another 12 miles to go, going downhill and on familiar territory, aargh! Resuscitated by a marmite sandwich and a drink I managed to get going again at a steady survival grimble. Went past one rider who lost it on a difficult bend and hit a car, he seemed ok though the car driver was pretty distraught!
So all I need to do now is repeat the 100miles+ and 3,000m climbing on 4 successive days and that will be Tour de Galles

Excellent Dragon riding there Toff! Apart from that last bit... did you take in enough salts? I have found the delight of Taut energy drink with added salts, as well as shot blocks with electrolites. It does help on a hot day!
