"If the prospect sounds appealing, you'll be pleased to hear that three of Britain's classic races are coming up: the Snowdon Mountain Race next Saturday; the Borrowdale Fell Race on August 2; and the Ben Nevis Race on September 6."

I'd rather be called a fell runner than called Tarquin

'You thrive on that pain. In the end, you start to love it
Remember, you're doing this because it's fun.
C'mon, we all know deep down pain is fun, and the more suffering involved, the greater the sense of achievement. Plus you don't need as many pints of your chosen alcoholic beverage to get plastered, therefore saving brass
Hills and Guinness!

Has anybody ever let themselves go when hoovering?
There is webpage about extreme hovering but it looks very tame.
I am sure a young person like Fleeter could take a hoover up to some difficult locations in the mountains and post better photographs about this new sport.
Perhaps those that complained about the litter on the top of Scafell can take a hoover up there and help to clean the summit.
PS. Fleeter, please remember to bring the hoover back with you.
