I best phone and see what's happening then .

Is there a DVD player at Mullett towers ? I have the "Birth of Xtreme" DVD with Colin Donnnelly run + other very stupid stuff in canoes and climbing. You could watch that over a few pints for motivation . Then do something equally silly, MTB's ??

Sorry chaps, but GRCEA 2008 is OFF. Weathered out. Apparently bicyclistas do not like wind and rain so they don't want to play.

All vital parts of the planning have been stood down (including the Missus who was just about to clean out the shelves of the Spar in Llanidloes!!).

    Ho hum. Maybe another weekend?

Took a spin up to Llangurig this afternoon (whilst at work ). Got it just spot on to see Tom Gibbs coming towards me at mph. Stopped him in a layby to say 'good luck' - he was a bit taken aback to be flagged down by a Moley driving a police car!!
Speed he was going should have had a bloody speeding ticket, he looked awsome on the bike, this was 3.10pm at Llangurig and was Toffer on his way out on his bike, to meet up around Builth Wells.

Toffer will never keep up .

    I did!
Intercepted Tom at Builth. You were right, looking absolutely awesome, even after 8hrs on the go. Flew down to Brecon and on to Penyfan, I cycled round while he ran over it to finish in a very impressive.........

Calling it off .... good call.

Weather has been atrocious today in Mid Wales, no fun, not even a starter.

You was right, I was wrong . We would have got nowhere.
