    Narradale fell race

    I'm going to be over around the time of this race, and was awondering what the route was like... I intend recce'ing the MMM the same week, but fancy this.

    As an AL, it sounds like fun

    I know this is a new race, but does no-one have any idea what it may be like?

    The race will be on, the route is still being completely finalised and should be available this weekend on www.manxfellrunners.org. The draft route is below and draft map is at this link but keep an eye on the website to see if it changes slightly!

    Start/Finish - Sulby Claddaghs GR 388 943
    Ascend through Ohio Plantation & follow footpath to top of Narradale
    lane GR 404 924 (Check 1 / 8)
    Proceed to Slieu Managh Summit GR 396 910 (Check 2)
    Descend to stream wall junction 400yds upstream of Bloc Eary GR 394
    897 (Check 3)
    Ascend to Bungalow GR 397867 (Check 4) - NO RUNNING ON TRAM LINES OR ROAD
    Ascend to Snaefell summit GR 398 881 (Check 5)
    Descend to Mountain Box Counter Checkpoint GR 410 897
    Descend to Glen Auldyn stream junction GR 423 916 (Check 6)
    Ascend to tarn GR 411 915 (Check 7)
    Return to top of Narradale lane (Check 1 / 8) and back through Ohio
    plantation to finish
