    Hat for summer

Does anyone else use and can recommend a hat for the summer? Without a light mesh-type hat, my brain would cook in no time.

    Any suggestions?

well they may make you look a bit of a twat but for a breed of people not averse to wearing ronhills buffs are pretty good

you can roll it in a headband or sport a bit of a pirate/fortune telling gypsy look

also stuff very easily in pocket or bumbag - may not be quite cool enough (temperature wise or style wise) for your needs

do you want summat with a brim?

    Re: Hat for summer

I do have a buff somewhere, but I think the wife hid it. She really doesn't like them. I suppose a peak would be handy for keeping out the sun and I'll probably slap on enough factor 500+ on my neck, but having fair hair means I sunburn easily.

I do all of my running either first thing in the morning or last thing in the evening. I've got an AL race coming up in a few weeks that starts at 11am. EEK!
