simonside show fell race 20th

This is a splendid show race run from Thropton in the Coquet valley, nr Rothbury Northumberland. BM its in the calender, same day as three shires. Nice race flattish start, river crossing then steady intial climb passing an iron age hill fort, steep climb to top of the simonside hills then a fast descent back to the show field by a slightly different route. great fun with a good beer tent. details on the NFR website

I concur , this is a nice run and a canny little show. Tupper Racing may be making an appearance.Depends on availablity of fish and chips for post race refuelling.
