I'm off to bed now so I thought I'd be 40 minutes early in wishing everyone a Happy Yorkshire Day.

Happy YORKSHIRE Day, I am putting up my big Yorkshire flag at work, long live the Centre of the Universe
Happy Yorkshire Day indeed. Must admit I thought it was a wind-up when I 1st heard of it 3years ago. Might wear my White Rose cufflinks for t'office later!
Mind if I celebrate in Lincolnshire later? (I can see Yorkshire out the window!)Don't worry Stagger, I'll be out for a run in Wharfedale later plus celebrating this evening in the Narrowboat, Skipton with a few pints of fine Yorkshire ale!
At work in deepest East Yorks - nobody's said a word about it, don't think they know!
Humberside (with the exception of police and fire services) doesn't exist anymore.
It's most definately East Yorks / North Lincs (but not in that order!) again.
I've suggested to the lads at work that the reason they didn't know it was Yorkshire Day is because they're not proper Yorkshire (with the exception of the deep pockets bit)!
I am being heckled as I type.
A good question for true Yorkshire fell runners , what was the tallest mountain in Yorkshire before they pinched bit from us with the boundry changes.
Cross Fell maybe? Mind you did Yorkshire actually go that far?
