wasnt fat lad moyles up snowdon this weekend preparing for his kilimanjaro trek??
Oh Dear, very sad
Well, he made it - having been blown off Cadair on Saturday, I'm not sure that, if I'd have been one of the instructors, I'd have taken a bunch of novices up there, esp. given what tragically happened later..
And why does everyone in the media seem determined to call it Mount Snowdon - what's that about? No-one says Mount Scafell or Mount Ben Nevis!
I thought the mount Snowdon was strange. First time i've heard that.

My island is very nice
It's a bit like saying Lake Windermere...
" Its official name is Windermere, not Lake Windermere. (The only body of water in the National Park with "Lake" in its name is Bassenthwaite Lake.)"
Which I think I've had as a pub quiz question before now - and failed to answer!
Wouldnt surprise me the way some folk were ponsing about yesterday - and i didnt get up any decent height or even any summits. Honestly, some look like they shouldn't have ventured any further than their front gardens. then again, they probably look at me in my 'training shoes' and think 'what an idiot, he shouldnt venture off the running track.'
