What was wrong with Cast?
First 2 albums were okay....

Now Kasabian - there's a band I don't get.

I think Cast had early promise but became mediocre. I liked Powers but I think he shoved all his talent up his nose. Sad really. The La's/Cast could've been huge.
I've heard a few Kasabian things and really liked them. I thought their cheeky cover of Hero's for the Footy was excellent. Can any one offer an opinion on the album? Shall I get it or is it destined to be a future embarrassment??

I watched 'Last King of Scotland' at home last night - excellent film, must remember to buy it!! What shall I watch tonight.....

Mansun were ace! First album - comedy, 2nd album was baffling, but bafflingly brilliant. Superb. Not like this manufactured rubbish like the Kooks. Granted, the 3rd was crap, but the record company tried to make them sell to the masses.
