    Southern based forumites

Just wanted to let you know I am organising the Frieth Hilly 10k on October 19th.

Its 50/50 offroad on road race in the Chilterns between Wycombe, Marlow and Henley going through Frieth, Fingest and Skirmett in the Hambledon Valley. It has one very steep grassy descent, a long climb up a bridleway and through some woods and further trails culminating in a 600m uphill road finish.

We are raising money for the local school and you can get an entry form and look at the course map on www.friethhilly10k.co.uk

ps Northern based forumites are obviously welcome too

    Cheers Bladerunner

Sounds a bit northern to me.

    Will there be polar bears?

Hmm interesting, I remember running cross country at Keep Hill, High Wycombe and that was rather hilly compared to what I was used to at the time.
Hoping for a far more successful 2009
