    recomendation for kids boots

my daughter want to take part in a race in a couple of weeks. I'm a bit loathed to fork out on a pair of junior walshes, and wondered how many kids might eun in football boots or similar? i noticed decathalon do a cheap pair with more/finer studs, like these http://www.decathlon.co.uk/EN/pichichi-red-47693242/
anyone know how suitable they would be?
    thanks

I felt the same but decided to get some Walshies anyway and let her use these for football. I reasoned that being a girl (and not bad at running) this was probably the best compromise.

They may well be on sale here in a year or two when she grows out of them.

My friends little boy has been coming out with me over the fields wearing something similar for the last couple of weeks. He seems to stay upright okay in them, plus he did his first fell race in them on Sunday.

When our kids started running and orienteering we bought astro turf trainers from JJB or similar and they used them for the lot.
We have lots of old walshes at the moment. Where are you and what size does she need?

Bloody hell Dom, has it come to running with little kids now so you can beat them!!!!! (Make sure you are fit for the Gravy Pud, it is a week after the marathon so we will take the sunday run steady!)
