Just to let those of you who might have been interested in this December race...
Spoke with Brian earlier today and he told me that he won't be organising the TT this year.
Sorry to see it go, was looking forward to this 'rite of passage'.

Missed this last year due to heavy cold and was targetting this year for my first attempt at the race.
Oh Well...
AAAAAAaaaaaarrrrrrrgggghhhh
was so looking forward to doing this again. after going wrong 3 times..once on each of the hills...but still finishing in a few seconds over 4 hours in THAT weather..i was looking forward to much improvement this year
Oh well...will have to recce something else instead
does that mean we get to keep the winners team trophy from last year
Hard Work, Hard Training and Suffering...Race Easy
Reckon I'll be at Marsden first Sunday of Dec. Anyone fancy a run?
Well that's a real b*gger, although I can quite understand as Brian & his family & pals have done a smashing job over many years with this Peak Classic... I was lucky enough to help last year (due to injury), rather than run and it was truly great to see the strained and happy faces at various stages in the race.... the finish tent faces being probably the best & .
I'd be happy to take it on... but, really I'm a bit to committed to other stuff for the next couple of years....surely the combined ranks of DPFR/PFR/KFR/Glossopdale/etc could muster a team of Old Lags & Lassies to keep it going???
I hope so, and maybe one day the course will return to Rollick Stones...
Miss Muddy Paws Dad....
Not clever & often stupid..
Come on, somebody
I want to do it sometime!!
