HA HA HA! Strangely enough i was in the shop looking at road bikes yesterday! Your last post made me think of a few more reasons for getting myself some skinny tires! I always fancied the idea of cyclocross. I will definately be having a go at the king of the mountain, although i will be doing it as a social ride with my old man and hopefully a few friends (long cafe stops).

Remember if you do long cakestops, it doesn't diminish for your actual time - so you could still do all the cakestops & be king of the MTN!!

Hiya Allan, its been a while since i have climbed anything over here. The last couple of years its mostly been Bouldering in Yorkshire (i love gritstone) and the lakes. It would do me good to get out and climb because im off to Skye to try the Cuillin ridge again (stormed off it three times last year!) in 10 weeks. Are you running on saturday? Look out for the mountain bike club jersey!
