    Hi Duracell

The 7th April is still free but I had planned on a BG recce.

Can't make Calderdale as I'm having a crack at Dark Peaks '15 Trigs' 55ish miles with at least 7000 ft climbing unsupported in a max time of 15 hours.

This is on my doorstep, well a bit of it is. It is an absolute classic of fell running and a must as a training run and a great day out. Tradition has it that there is no backup. Apparently the record is just over 10 hours (unless any one knows better)

If you want to know the details i can post them

    Ian

    Hi Duracell

Details on the 15 trigs below as requested

The route is based on all the Trigs in the Dark Peak that featured on the Kimm map from 1984 (I believe)

The start and finish is the Sportsman Pub at Lodge Moor ,
    Sheffield. Gd.ref. 282862

    ROD MOOR : 263884
    EMLIN: 240934
    BACK TOR : 198910
    MARGERY HILL : 189957
    OUTER EDGE : 177970
    ALPORT : 129933
    SHELF MOOR : 089948
    COCK HILL : 059962
    HARRY HUT : 045908
    KINDER WEST : 077894
    KINDER LOW : 079871
    BROWN KNOLL : 084851
    BLACKDEN : 129878
    WIN HILL : 187851
    HIGH NEB : 228853

then back to the Sportsman for a well deserved Beer.

Thanks Denzil - looks good. Not able to do the Wuthering Hike so this might just be the perfect substitute.

Calderdale Hike looks good. Didn't know about this race.
Might come and do it myself, since I can't make the Wuthering Hike this year.
