    Is Stockport Pyramid..........

.....the eigth wonder of the Ancient world?

It's amazing when you think that it was built over 4000 years ago and you consider how they had to transport the glass panels all the way from St. Helens on the backs of domesticated mammoths.

    I found this about it:

"Ancient carvings appear to depict alien creatures involved in it's construction. One interpretation of the accompanying text, however, suggests them to be residents of Brinnington and Reddish.

Opinion is divided as to whether it was built as a shrine to a suburban deity or was some sort of primitive call centre staffed by grunting neanderthals."

In a strange twist on the Egyptian practice of killing the workers who buiult the pyramids to prevent them from revealing the secrets of gaining access to the treasures within, the rulers who had the Stockport edifice constructed consigned the unfortunate wretches to a lifetime of imprisonment in the building which forced them to develop strange protocols for communicating with outsiders via telephones.
Everybody's heart doesn't beat the same.

Apparently people with any knowledge on pyramids have long accepted the superiority of Stockport's construction over Egypt's paler imitations.

The use of unfashionable, unreflective materials such as stone are where the North African mounds fall short. Who was responsible for such a grave architectural error? For the answer we need look no further than the following entry under 'Pyramids' in Wikipedia.
