Sounds very much like Borrowdale, although there is a (notional) membership fee, and a 1 minute AGM chaired by Scoffer! And definitely raggle taggle!
Even a 1 minute AGM rules them out. Mindyou, to be compared in the same sentence to such illustrious fell-heroes is praise indeed!

Hmm, Blaengarw Bunny?? That was a fun race wasn't it. Mindyou, Old Greybeards Abergwynfi uses pretty much the same terrain (including that climb) and has the benefit of finishing at a pub and avoids running the gauntlet of the feral foxhounds in Blaengarw.
