BBB I guess that all your perambulations will now have to be at 200m sprint pace from now on - it's obviously the onlyway to avoid injury.

Physio diagnosed IT band-says its overuse injury which explains why i didnt actually 'do' anything out of the ordinary to damage it and has given me some treatment and list of stretches for the piriformis. Also told me that i have to do some core exercises.
He seemed genuinely surprised that after 4 years of running 15 1/2 stones up and down hills i havent been injured before. Particularly since i havent stretched at all.
Maybe its finally caught up with me? He reckons he can get me running something like after 2 weeks!!!
What the hell am i going to do?
Still too heavy to run
Cant believe how much i miss it.
Physio says i can cycle,so thats what i'll do. Doesnt give me the same buzz as a good run though.
Im bloody depressed.

I'll come cycling with you pal,
most of my knee problems are part of weak quads and a tight IT band. Keep stretching it works, you have to do it a lot though. Like three times a day and dont get lazy about the stretching.

My ankle gave a loud "crack" during the Relays on Sunday. Just been to my doctor who gave me some anti-inflammatories & told me to get down to A&E for an Xray.
Nothing broken, but I've got a fat, sore ankle & can't run either .
I've just decided I don't trust you anymore.
