Okay, everyone agreed in Trans Britain Ultra thread this sounded like a good idea - here's where we come up with the plan.
For the Tour of Tours (TOT), we need:
Between 5-6 routes to be completed on consecutive days, taking in the UK's best fell-running.
Each stage to be 15-30 miles in length. Circular routes each one, so drivers can join in (drivers can rotate each day).
Possibly starting in Scotland, coming down to the Lakes, into the Yorkshire Moors, on to the Peaks, ending in Wales - with maybe a wildcard location thrown into the mix.
Aiming to keep the requirements to a minimum: minibus, running kit enough for 5/6 days running (including standard FRA safety stuff), camping equipment and, most importantly beer money for beer and whiskey (BAW).
Suggestions for stages so far include 3 Peaks for Yorkshire, and a section of BGR for the lakes.
